Year 6 Enrichment Program
An essential part of Year 6 learning is preparation for secondary level study. At The Grange P-12 College we provide access to programs such as Robotics, Science, Hospitality/Food, Art and Athletes Development Program programs to all Year 6 students at our senior campus.
We find this highly engages students, develops the necessary work and study skills for secondary level education and importantly provides a “real” hands on transition to our senior campus learning environment.
This cross Year 6 to Year 7 program also provides opportunities for our teachers to really get to know students prior to attending the Deloraine 7-12 campus.
We are the only College that is able to provide this seamless transition to secondary learning.
Year 7
Students from various Primary Schools enter The Grange P-12 College at Year 7, joining our own cohort of Year 6 students. We welcome and integrate all students by blending new groups to make all students feel welcome and at home in Year 7. With a dedicated team of Year 7 teachers and housed in their own learning space, students soon make the adjustment to routines of Secondary life.
All students are encouraged to become involved in the many extra-curricular activities on offer, making connections beyond the classroom curriculum helps to develop individual confidence and a sense of belonging to the College community.
