Our College

As you might know the Department of Education has a range of structural options for schools – some are Senior Colleges, Multi-campus or designed for Prep to Year 9.

We are a P-12 structure offering students the opportunity to attend the one school from Prep to Year 12. Often parents enjoy this model as it provides the opportunity for the family to attend the one school.

A number of parents comment that this suits pick ups and drop offs at school, especially when parents have busy schedules, work commitments and the problems around traffic congestion.

The P-12 model also provides a unique opportunity for continuity of teaching and learning, classroom routines and programmes. At a P-12 College, students build relationships with teachers and form great friendships as they transition through the College.

We find a great strength is our Grade 6 classes taking an elective program at our Senior Campus – this really builds highly positive transition links and ensures a smooth move into Year 7 level the following year.

The P-12 structure provides a family like environment where our Primary and Secondary teachers work closely together and really get to know families.
